How To Register As A Recruiter!

In the above video, we’re going to show you how to sign up as a recruiter on the Skills Cafe platform. Plus, we’ll dive into how you can test your candidates’ math skills. You’ve got two options to start:

1. If you’re looking for a walkthrough first, just hit the ‘Get Started’ button. Scroll down until you see a form that says ‘Find out more’. Fill that out, and our team will reach out to set up a time to show you how everything works.
2. If you’re ready to dive in, there’s a link for you to schedule a demo or create a demo account right away. You’ll need to fill out your company’s details, like the name and sector, and make sure to give us the full scoop. Don’t forget to add a profile picture for your company too.

How To Complete Your Profile & Create Your 1st Skills Assessment On The Skills Cafe Assessment Tool

In the above video we’re diving into how to get started on the recruiter portal. We’ll cover setting up your profile and making your first skills assessment test. Ready? Let’s jump in.

First off, head over to the website and hit the login button at the top. This will take you straight to the portal page. Here, you’ll see another login option. Click that, and you’ll land on your dashboard.

If it’s your first time here, you’ve got some homework! Fill out your profile with all the essentials like your photo and email address. Don’t forget to detail your company’s info too—add a short bio, your logo, and so forth. This helps candidates know they’re dealing with pros when they take your assessments.

Here’s why we suggest the main member of your team registers first: that person becomes the admin. They can then add the rest of the team to the portal, allowing everyone to create and manage assessments.

Ready to create an assessment? It’s easy. Just type in a job title, like “engineer,” and you’ll see a list of relevant assessments. Pick one, like “hardware network engineer technician,” and it’ll show you 10 questions related to that role. These questions help rate your candidates.

You can also filter by sector and category. For example, choose “accounting,” then “financial,” and you’ll see assessments for roles like “loan officer.” Select an assessment and you’ll be ready to screen applicants with it.

Once you pick an assessment, you’ll get to a confirmation page. Name your test, add your client’s name, and boom, you’ve got a link active for 28 days. This gives you plenty of time to find the best candidates.

After confirming, you’ll receive an email with a link for bulk screening. Remember, don’t click this link yourself since it’s meant for job seekers. Instead, use this link in your job ads so candidates can access the assessment directly.

You can track all your assessments and see the progress and results from your dashboard. When ready, copy the invitation link from your dashboard into your job ad. This ensures candidates can find and complete the test.

Lastly, log out to avoid any mix-ups with the software. If a candidate clicks the link from your ad, they’ll be invited to complete the assessment. If they’re new, they’ll need to sign up. Then, they can take the test, and you’ll get notified of the results.
